Stewart E. Bush [Parents] was born on 22 May 1914 in Pen Argyl, Northampton Co., PA. He died on 14 Apr 1994 in Brookmont Health Care Center, Effort, Monroe Co., PA and was buried on 16 Apr 1994 in Wind Gap Cemetery, Plainfield Twp., Northampton Co., PA. Stewart married Evelyn Elizabeth Rissmiller.

Stewart E. Bush served in the US Coast Guard from 8 December 1942 to 26 November 1945.

STEWART E. BUSH
Stewart E. Bush, 79, of Chestnut Hill Township, Saylorsburg, formerly of Lake Wallenpaupack and Belfast, died Thursday in Brookmont Health Care Center, Effort. He was the husband of Evelyn (Rissmiller) Bush who died in 1985.

He was an electrician and worked for the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers 367, Easton, for more than 30 years, retiring in 1976. Before that he worked for the Bethlehem Steel Corp.

Born in Pen Argyl, he was a son of the late George L. and Edith (Fish) Bush.

A Coast Guard veteran of World War II, he was past commander of Wind Gap American Legion Post 724. Bush was a founder and former commander of the Del-High Power Squadron of the Lehigh Valley. For many years he was the boat inspector at Lake Wallenpaupack.

Survivors: Sisters, Thelma Andre of New Platz, N.Y., Mae Silico of Wind Gap, and Beatrice, wife of Walter Miller of College Park, Md.

Services: 11 a.m. tomorrow, Schmidt Home, 202 West St., Wind Gap. Call 7-8:30 p.m. today.
