YORK - Janet I. (Biesecker) Inskip, 71, of York, died at 7:15 p.m. Monday at York Hospital.

A memorial service will be 7 p.m. Thursday at the Heffner Funeral Chapel and Crematory Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.

Mrs. Inskip was born July 2, 1924, in Thomasville. She was the daughter of the late John F. and Ada R. (McLaughlin) Biesecker.

Mrs. Inskip is survived by a daughter, Suzanne E. Zinn of York; and two sisters, Betty M. Fissel of Thomasville and Louise Martin of Shiloh.

Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Ruth Fieldhouse, pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church. Memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association, 2990 Cape Horn Road, Red Lion 17356. 10-30-95

She was also the granddaughter of James Green McLaughlin and Anna Frances Frieze McLaughlin. On October 30, 1913, in Waynesboro, Franklin County, she married John William Noll, son of Charles William and Annie Robison Noll. They were the parents of 4 children: Margaret Larue, Robert William, Kenton Edgar and Raymond Franklin Noll. Clara passed away March 23, 1982, in Waynesboro, and was buried in Burns Hill Cemetery there.

November 6, 1913 — Noll-McLaughlin — John W. Noll and Miss Clara McLaughlin, both of Roadside, were united in marriage this morning at the Lutheran parsonage, this city, by the Rev. Austin A. Kelly, pastor. The bridegroom is the son of William Noll, and the bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W.F. McLaughlin, the former of which is proprietor of the Hopewell Mills at Roadside. The couple will reside at the home of the bride's parents until spring.

ROBERT W. "BOB" NOLL, of 11297 Woodside Drive and formerly of 10948 Mentzer Gap Road, both of Waynesboro, died at 6:15 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 9, 2004, in Washington County Hospital, Hagerstown. He had been in failing health since March 1, 2004, and critically ill the past 12 days.

Born Nov 29, 1917, in Washington Township, he was the son of the late John W. and Clara F. (McLaughlin) Noll.

He was a lifelong resident of Waynesboro area. Mr Noll was a 1936 graduate of Washington Township High School.

He and his wife of 64 years, Vivian S. (Stevens) Noll, were married Aug. 18, 1940, in Middletown, Md. They lived at their Mentzer Gap Road, address from 1946 until moving to their present residence in 1999.

Mr. Noll completed his machinist trade at Landis Machine Co., Waynesboro. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II from Sept 1944 until April 1946.
After discharge from the service, Mr. Noll was an automobile salesman for various local dealerships from 1946 until retiring in 1994. During this time, he also owned Bob Nolls Select Cars on South Potomac Street, Waynesboro, for many years. He was a member of Christ United Methodist Church, Waynesboro.

He was a member of Acacia Lodge 586 Free and Accepted Masons, Waynesboro.
Mr. Noll was an automobile enthusiast.

In addition to his wife; he is survived by three daughters, Phyra K. Hargett of Lithonia, Ga., Patricia S. Paull of McSherrystown and Lynda S. Miller of Joshua, Texas; seven grandchildren: two great-grandsons; and a number of nieces, and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Margaret Noll, and two brothers, Kenton Noll and Raymond Noll.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday in Christ United Methodist Church, 6 W. Second St., Waynesboro, with the Rev. Dr. Robert A. Cook officiating. Private burial will be at the convenience of the family.

There will be no public viewing. However, the family will receive friends one hour prior to services Saturday in the church. The family requests the omission of flowers. Memorial donations may be made to the building fund of Christ United Methodist Church, 6 W. Second, Waynesboro, Pa. 17268. Arrangements were made by Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, Waynesboro.

MRS. VIVIAN S. (STEVENS) NOLL, 95, of 11297 Woodside Drive and formerly of 10948 Mentzer Gap Road, both of Waynesboro, PA, passed away Friday, October 10, 2014 in Waynesboro Hospital.

Born September 17, 1919 in Waynesboro, she was the daughter of the late Elmer Stevens, Sr. and Stella (Maun) Stevens. She was a lifelong resident of the Waynesboro area.

Mrs. Noll graduated from Waynesboro High School with the class of 1938.

She and her husband, the late Mr. Robert W. "Bob" Noll, were married August 14, 1940 in Middletown, MD. They lived at their Mentzer Gap Road address from 1946 until 1999 when they moved to their Woodside Drive address. Mr. Noll passed away September 9, 2004.

Mrs. Noll worked at J.C. Penney Department Store, Waynesboro and later Routzahn's, Waynesboro, as a make-up consultant. She was an active member of Christ United Methodist Church, Waynesboro. She was also a member of the Waynesboro Hospital Auxiliary, and a breast cancer support group. Mrs. Noll enjoyed sewing, gardening, and flowers.

Mrs. Noll is survived by two daughters, Phyra K. Hargett of Georgia and Patricia S. Paull of McSherrystown, PA; her son in law, Carroll Miller of Southport, NC; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two nephews, Garnett "Butch" Stevens, I of Mercersburg, PA and Ray Stevens of Hagerstown, MD; and a number of additional nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Lynda S. Miller; and ten brothers and sisters.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 P.M., Sunday, October 12, 2014 in Christ United Methodist Church, 100 South Church Street, Waynesboro with the Rev. Dr. A. Robert Cook officiating. Burial will be private in Green Hill Cemetery, Waynesboro. There will be no public viewing. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: The American Cancer Society, 384 Floral Ave., Chambersburg, PA 17201 Arrangements are by Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, Waynesboro.
