Charles Plottenberger, of 320 North Ninth Street, died suddenly at his home on Sunday morning at 5:00 o'clock of acute indigestion. He was aged 60 years, and was a member of the Knights of Pythias and the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen. He was employed by the Reading Railroad Company for a period of thirty years, working out of the Lebanon branch. Besides his widow, Sadie, (nee Michael), two daughters survive: Mrs. J. C. Cramer, of Ford City, Pa.; and Miss Ruth Plottenberger, at home.

She was aged 67 years, and was a member of the Tabor Reformed Church, of this city. Her husband preceded her in death October 28, 1934. They were former residents of this city. Another daughter, a Miss Ruth Plottenberger, a resident of McKeesport, and two grandchildren also survive.

She passed her 51th birthday anniversary early in November. She resided in Lebanon for a number of years while her husband, J. E. Cramer, was manager of the McCrory 5 and 10 cent store in Lebanon. She was a daughter of the late Charles and Sadie Plottenberger. In addition to her husband she leaves two daughters Louanna wife of Richard Whighan, of McKeesport, and Agnes, wife of Jack Serene, New Castle, Pa., and a sister Miss Ruth unreadable.

She was a member of the Montgomeryville Baptist church, The Missions Society of the church, the Adrian Area Home Extension and the Adrian Senior Citizens.

Survivors include two sons, Thomas Serene of Natrona Heights and George Serene of Ford City; two step-daughters, Mrs. Richard (Luanne) Wigham of McKeesport and Mrs. Agnes Serene of Hunington; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Nancy Skinner of Adrian. She was preceded in Death by her first husband, David Serene, who died in 1943; her second husband, Earl Cramer, who died in 1963; and one son, Jack Serene, who died in 1952.

CRAMER-Friends of Irene Cramer, 86, of Adrian, who died Wednesday Afternoon, Nov. 7, 1984, will be received at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, Cowansville, from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday. Services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. from the Montgomeryville Baptist Church with the Rev. Michael Sutberry, her pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in Montgomeryville Baptist Cemetery. Louanna R. Whigham, 91, of White Oak, passed away Sunday, June 6, 2010, in UPMC McKeesport. She was born November 5, 1918, in Lebanon, Pa. She was the wife of the late Richard G. Whigham. She was a member of the Sampson Mills Presbyterian Church and its Senior Fellowship Group. She also was a member of the White Oak AARP and an avid bowler and card player.

She is survived by her daughters Pat (Larry) Trich of McKeesport, Barbara (Robert) Santucci and Bonnie (Sam) Gouker, both of Glassport. She is also survived by five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
